Whether you have been attending our Sunday School for years or are visiting our website for the first time, we are so glad you are here!
Our mission is simple: to help every student feel and nurture their relationship with God as Life, Truth, and Love. Grounded in Christian Science, our Sunday School guides young people in learning how to pray and applying the practical spiritual truths found in the Bible and the Christian Science textbook.
Our Curriculum & Classes
Our foundation rests on the foundational lessons outlined in the Church Manual:
- First Lessons: The Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:3–17), the Lord’s Prayer (Matt. 6:9–13) with its spiritual interpretation by Mary Baker Eddy in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, and the Sermon on the Mount (Matt. 5:3–12).
- Next Lessons: Responding to student questions, drawing our answers from the Christian Science Quarterly Bible Lessons.
We currently host six active, engaging classes:
- Nursery
- Pre-K / Kindergarten
- Early Elementary
- Upper Elementary
- Middle School
- High School (And we are always ready to welcome a college-age class, too!)
A Caring, Hands-On Community
Sunday School is a lively, collaborative space where students actively participate in making everyone feel welcome. From greeting visitors to helping clean up, the children love jumping in to help.
This season, our classes are diving into some wonderful hands-on activities:
- Grateful Tree: Students are creating a visual gratitude display this fall, and we invite the whole church community to add notes of gratitude to it!
- Sharing Healings: Recording testimonies of healing and practicing how to share them.
- Bible Stories & History: Deepening understanding by exploring Bible history and acting out key scriptural stories.
- Student Spotlight Posters: Creating visual posters that highlight each student’s unique interests and talents.
- Weekly Takeaways: Encouraging students to share their experiences and take one practical spiritual idea into their week.
What Our Teachers Say
Supported by six dedicated regular teachers and eight ready substitutes, our team loves watching spiritual growth unfold every week:
“It’s beautiful to see it all unfold harmoniously. The camaraderie is so good to see, and I love how eager everyone is to help out.”
“I look forward to what our students bring to Sunday School—their interests, their answers to thoughtful questions, and hearing about their healings.”
